STEP INTO THE SECRETS OF CEREMONY

When we enter a sacred and ceremonial container, we can connect with our multidimensional selves. In this gathering and playshop, you will receive guidance, connection, and support to reconnect with your deepest self, the earth, your heart and spirit. We will explore sound expression, shamanic journeying, and participate in a despacho healing ceremony to bring us into harmony with all of creation. We will use a rattle and drum for healing and to open your abilities to do the same for others.
Ancient cultures utilized offering ceremonies, sound healing, energy medicine, and shamanic journeying to receive guidance, invoke assistance, retrieve energy and provide healing. In this special hands-on playshop, you will connect with a deepened understanding and lived experience of ceremony, allowing you to receive the messages needed for exactly where you are in your own spiritual journey.
We will open a sacred space and create a despacho offering together to bring us into right relationship with all creation. Despacho ceremonies are an Andean indigenous offering that invites the clearing of old energy and welcoming new energy in. It is a way of expressing gratitude and being open to abundance in our lives. Everyone participates in the ceremony - clearing the old and weaving energetic threads of our prayers and gifts throughout the circle, infusing the mandala with love, beauty, joy, abundance, and the oneness of life. This ceremony allows us to carry a sense of balance and harmony into our community and the world. The despacho brings the energies of manifestation into full realization by blending deep personal inner experiences with powerful intention and gratitude, weaving our dreams into reality. and connection with all of creation.
We will also explore the use of drums, rattles, bells, and your voice for clearing and opening energy. Accessing states of song in community can connect you to your heart and spirit. You will gain experience working with these sound and voice tools and expressions.
In addition, you will be taken on a shamanic journey where you'll receive inner guidance, insights, and energy for yourself and others. If you've done shamanic journey before, new journeys appropriate for the season will be shared, so be ready to gain new insights as no ceremony is the same.
This playshop is perfect for anyone interested in connecting with ceremony and spirit, receiving sound healing, shamanic energy medicine, and journeying. It's also beneficial for practitioners looking to expand their knowledge and experience.

Please bring your drum, rattles, and a journal. We will be using frame drums, and there will be some extra rattles and drums available to share.
Also, bring a natural item for an offering (e.g., a flower, incense, or seeds).
A journal and a pen.
