Dear Friends & Clients:

As we move into the darker months it is a great time to deepen into self care and self love practices. What makes you feel truly nourished, grounded, loved and centered on all levels? Many of my clients have had transformational changes when they tune into what truly feeds them in their lives and make changes that are in alignment with what makes their hearts sing.

Self love and self care are essential especially if we tend to give a great deal to others.  Begin by letting go of the ways you approach yourself and life that do not serve you or just feel like pressure. Any old sabotaging behaviors can be released through transformation, knowing they are just part of a inner child in yourself that wants love but may be seeking it in a way that doesn't really serve your higher development. Turn to your higher self, divine inner truth and wisdom and allow this part of you to love yourself and that inner child unconditionally.

Nourishing your body, mind and spirit require an inner commitment and alignment. They can be simple practices. The most important is consistency of your daily self care routine. A balance of softness and disciple are both required. If you need assistance creating some healthy routines for yourself body, mind and spirit let me know. Here are just a few general suggestions:

Morning Practice~ Light a candle and spend a minimum of 5-15 minutes in your favorite meditation.  Bring forth your intention for the day. Then, spend 10 minutes to 2 hours with a physical practice. It could be Yoga, Chi Qigong, Dance or a combination. Movement is important as we spend less time outdoors. Get your body ignited and inspirited. Remember if you don't feel you have time, keep it short. It can be 15 minutes.
Daily Warm Oil Massage~ Use essential oils of frankincense, sweet orange in a carrier oi of refined sesame oil. Vigorously rub the oil into your body before a shower. This is great for the lymphatic system and has a warming quality to keep; the body healthy. It also feel so great!
Nourishing Elixirs~ Drink Warm Ginger Tea  throughout the day. This allows digestion to improve in the cooler season. Experiment with other herbs and spices like tulsi and dried rose petals in your teas.
Self Love~ Align yourself with an attitude of deep self love. Listening to inspirational music, recordings, playing music. singing or sounding are ways to turn your attention to more of the sweetness in life. Use crystals on your body, sacred geometry imagery in your meditations and surround yourself with colors that bring in more beauty to your life. Most importantly be kind to yourself knowing you are exactly where you need to be in this moment.
Meals~ nourishing yourself with good healthy food. Before you eat bless and thank your food infusing it with high vibrational frequencies.
Baths~ Enjoy nice yummy warm baths with epsom salts essential oils, by candle light.
Support~ Connect with your guides. These may be animal guides, angels, spirit guides or your higher self. Ask them to come and assist and and work with you. Quan Yin and Tara are beautiful compassionate deities to work with. Call them in. Also don't be afraid to reach out and ask for help from others if you need it.

These simple self care rituals bring in a presence mindfulness and love into your daily life.
