Practical Tips for Spiritual & Energetic Hygiene
As we navigate the unknown, change can sometimes leave us feeling off balance. It's akin to the metamorphosis of a caterpillar morphing into a butterfly. Embracing transformation and finding joy in these big shifts can be incredibly rewarding.
As humans, we often find discomfort in change because it is unknown. There is so much comfort in the familiar. However, deep within us our souls yearn for growth and transformation. To navigate these changes gracefully, it's important to slow down, find our balance, and connect with our highest frequency and joy. Just as we tend to our physical well-being daily, we must also care for our spiritual and energetic selves.
HERE ARE SOME SIMPLE PRACTICAL TIPS FOR SPIRITUAL & ENERGETIC HYGIENE
1. Grounding: Stay present in your body and connect with nature to anchor yourself to your own source essence.
2. Clearing Baths: Take salt and baking soda baths (use 1 cup each) infused with essential oils, like frankincense and lavender, to relax and clear heavy energy.
3. Intentions and Commands: Empower yourself with these commands to release anything that is not authentically serving you and align with your true essence. Try speaking these commands outloud:
a) I command my spirit to release and clear anything that is not authentically me NOW.
b) I command my spirit to bring ALL of me into me NOW!
c) I command my spirit to bring more life force energy into my body NOW!
Speaking each of the commands out loud three times. Then say, "5, 4, 3, 2, 1, NOW!" Clap your hands or snap to complete. Move on the the next command.
4. Essential Oil Sprays & Incense: Use essential oil sprays and burning cleansing incense like copal and palo santo to positively shift & ground yourself and the energy in your space.
5. Nature Connection: Spend time listening to nature to harmonize with its frequency and reconnect with your own essence. Mother Nature has immense healing powers; even a moment to pause in nature does wonders. Stop and simply listen and receive.
6. Community Support: Share openly and seek support from others to find joy and authenticity in life. Being vulnerable goes a long way!
7. Pursue Your Passions: Engage in activities that light you up and keep you connected to your inner joy and curiosity. When you are connecting and doing what you love, you are impervious to heavier densities. Stay curious like a child in wonder, and this will keep you in the beginner's mind. Sing, dance, play, laugh.
8. Seek Support from Healing Practitioners: Seek guidance from healing practitioners to address blind spots and shadows. Going for monthly clearings will allow you to move forward during these pivotal times of change with more clarity and inspiration.
