Creating Pathways for New Possibility
We all want something: The freshness of freedom, growth, abundance, great health, adventure and love. This is what compels us forward toward growth and evolution. We all have access to fulfilling these dreams. It lies not outside, but within us.
I am not talking from a happy go lucky, naïve stance. Believe me, I have been through my share of debilitating health issues, heartache, losses and challenges in life, as have many of you.
I am going to share something a little different than how we usually think about creating what we want. To create a new future we have to shift the past.
Our past memories, beliefs, and feelings create imprints in our brain and energy system. For example, if you were abandoned physically or emotionally as a child and your survival was threatened, now whenever anyone leaves, it could trigger this old terror even though you are safe in the present.
If you could change the past experience, then your current experience and reactions in the present would be completely different. You could see there would be a lot more freedom. So then, we just need to shift the way we see and feel about the past and create a new pathway which will create a new present and future.
So, is it possible to change your past? Yes, it actually is. Memories are in a dimension of time that we can shift. An amazing thing happens when we change those memories. Science now proves that there is no difference in the brain from a perceived past and actual past. For some of you, this may seem far fetched, yet others who have worked in deep states of meditation, energy healing, shamanic healing methods or other healing modalities, know that this is possible.
There is an energetic field in space/time that holds the frequency of our thoughts and feelings. So shifting the way we experience our past in the present moment can create a whole new pathway for our present and future.
Let’s use the analogy of a river. When a river is not flowing very strongly in the direction we want, if we only just rearrange the stones down river where we are, we do not have the power to sustain the lasting change in the directional flow of the river.
If we go to the source of the river, and re-orient the stones, the river has the power to flow strongly in the direction we choose.
We can do that same thing with our thoughts and experiences from the past that no longer serve us. The actual experience of the past is over, yet the pathways still remain. We can re-orient the perceived past experiences in a different direction that better serves us to create a whole new pathway for our present and future.
This is the kind of work I love to do with my clients. We make shifts from the source and create pathways for new possibilities.
